CTL resumes grain truck auctions at the end of February

From now on, applications purchased through Prozorro.Sales will be the first to be secured, and “regular” applications will be secured only on a residual basis.

The UZ branch “Center for Transport Logistics” (CTL) is resuming English auctions for the use of grain carriers for the third decade of February 2026. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

This decision is associated with an increase in the number of applications for wagons. UZ clarified that from the third decade, priority in securing will be given to applications for grain carriers purchased through Prozorro.Sales.

“Regular applications will be secured on a residual basis,” Ukrzaliznytsia noted.

At the auctions on February 18, CTL sold all shipments in grain carriers in the available loading window from February 20 to 28. 25 lots of 10 wagons and 1 lot of 50 wagons were put up for auction.

Loading yard — UZ, unloading yard — without restrictions. The starting rate was 2000 UAH/day per wagon excluding VAT, and the final rates for the lots fluctuated in the range of 2170–2450 UAH/day per wagon excluding VAT.

Earlier, CTL announced its intention to switch to a fixed price and sell grain trucks without auctions from February. At the same time, as of February 12, the branch received applications for 4.5 thousand shipments in grain trucks in February, which prompted the return of bidding.

Recall that at the end of last month, Ukrzaliznytsia fixed a new rate for grain trucks.
