Two civilian vessels carrying grain were damaged during a night attack in the port of Odesa region


At the time of the attack, both ships were standing near the piers and were loaded with Ukrainian grain.

During the night attack by Russian drones on the Odesa region on March 20, two civilian commercial ships were damaged in one of the ports of the region. This was reported by the USPA press service.

These are ships under the flags of Palau and Barbados. At the time of the attack, the ships were near the piers of the port and were loaded with Ukrainian grain.

Two people were injured as a result of the attack. They are being provided with the necessary medical assistance.

In addition to the ships, administrative buildings and infrastructure facilities on the port territory were damaged.

Currently, work is underway at the site to eliminate the consequences of the attack. Despite the attack, the port continues to operate taking into account current security restrictions.
