The Ministry of Development has completed accepting applications for a concession in the port of Chornomorsk

The acceptance of applications for prequalification within the framework of the concession of the First and Container Terminals in the port of Chornomorsk has ended.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.
He said that the Ministry of Development has moved on to the next stage – a detailed review of documents. Within two weeks, the competition commission will check the participants’ compliance with key requirements: financial capacity, experience in managing large port and logistics facilities, as well as the implementation of infrastructure projects.
In parallel, security screening is underway. All companies are checked for the absence of ties with the aggressor state, sanctioned persons and other risks to national security.
After prequalification, the commission will determine who will proceed to the next stage – a dialogue on the terms of the project and the contract. The number of applications is not disclosed in order to ensure fair competition and equal conditions for participation.
USM previously reported that the concession project at the port of Chornomorsk was recently presented in Istanbul.
