Russia again attacked the port infrastructure of the Odesa region

In one of the ports, damage was recorded to warehouses, production and administrative buildings, and fires broke out on the spot.

Russian troops struck again in the Odesa region closer to the morning of March 2, directing drones at port and civil infrastructure facilities in the region. This was reported by the USPA press service.

The infrastructure of one of the ports was hit. Warehouses, production and storage facilities, as well as administrative buildings were damaged there.

In some areas, fires broke out after the hits. They are being eliminated by the State Emergency Service and other specialized services. According to preliminary information, there are no victims.

In addition to the port infrastructure, the consequences of the attack were also recorded on civilian facilities. In particular, one of the floors of a 9-story residential building was damaged, windows were broken, and the facade and roof of a private house were damaged. In addition, 13 cars were damaged.

Despite the latest attack, the port continues to operate as usual, taking into account security restrictions. The site is currently undergoing cleanup operations, and the extent of the damage is being determined.

As USM previously reported, the Ukrainian agricultural sector will enter the new season with a surplus of grain due to shelling of ports.
