Ukrainian ports will be reorganized into partnerships instead of state-owned enterprises

Among the state-owned enterprises subject to reorganization are seven Ukrainian ports.
This is evidenced by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, by which the government approved the decision of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories on the reorganization of a number of state-owned enterprises.
This concerns a change in the form of management of key state-owned enterprises that are of strategic importance for the economy and logistics of the country.
The key block of changes concerns the port industry. The government decided to transform a number of state-owned enterprises into limited liability companies, where all shares will also belong to the state.
This list includes “Mykolaiv Commercial Sea Port”, “Odesa Commercial Sea Port”, “Commercial Sea Port “Chornomorsk”, “Mariupol Commercial Sea Port”, “Reni Commercial Sea Port”, “Izmail Commercial Sea Port” and “Commercial Sea Port “Pivdennyi”.
The list also includes the State Research Institute of Building Structures.
It should be noted that at the same time, during the reorganization, the state retains full control over the assets.
