Kernel processed almost a million tons of oilseeds in the third quarter

Agroholding Kernel processed almost a million tons of oilseeds in the third quarter of the 2026 fiscal year.
This is reported by Latifundist with reference to the company’s operating report.
Thus, in January-March, Kernel processed 986 thousand tons of oilseeds – 17% more than in the same period last year. For the most part, the reason was the increase in the availability and purchases of sunflower seeds on the domestic market.
The company also increased sales of edible oil – by 7%, to 373 thousand tons, which corresponds to the dynamics of processing.
The volume of grain acceptance at elevators also increased – to 511 thousand tons. For nine months of the fiscal year, the figure amounted to 4 million tons – 50% more than a year earlier. This is partly due to a change in the crop structure: last year, the share of corn in the company’s portfolio increased to 48% compared to 24% a year earlier.
Grain exports from Ukraine in the third quarter amounted to 1.5 million tons, which is the level of the previous quarter. The results were affected by restrained sales from farmers, as well as restrictions on electricity supply and increased logistics costs.
Earlier, USM reported that Kernel signed an agreement to acquire agroholding Enselco for $348 million.
