Defense forces strike again at Tuapse refinery

A fire and smoke were recorded at the enterprise, the extent of the damage is being clarified.
On the night of May 27, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Tuapse Refinery. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Tuapse Refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in southern Russia with a capacity of about 12 million tons of oil per year. The plant is part of Rosneft and works in conjunction with the sea terminal in Tuapse, which provides transshipment of petroleum products. The enterprise produces fuel, in particular, for the needs of the Russian Armed Forces.
This is not the first strike on the facility. In April alone, the refinery was attacked three times – on the 16th, 20th and 28th, as well as on May 1st. After the strike on April 20, the plant stopped its only primary oil refining unit.
