Port asset in Chornomorsk, owned by a company from Solsky’s orbit, arrested

Khmelnytskyi City District Court has seized the real estate of Milan-Trade LLC, which the investigation links to former Minister of Agricultural Policy Mykola Solskyi.

This is stated in the register of court decisions, writes Latifundist

We will remind, this is a continuation of the Volitsa-Agro case, due to which Solsky is in custody.

Within the framework of this case, the investigation is checking not only grain transactions, but also related assets. One of them is Milan-Trade LLC, which, according to the investigation, could actually be controlled by the former minister.

On April 17, Milan-Trade’s assets in the Odesa region were seized, including: the unfinished construction of berths No. 30 and No. 31 in Chornomorsk, an administrative building, land plots and a property complex for liquefied gas transshipment. According to the court, the berths are 71% ready.

In particular, on April 15, the court seized funds in the accounts of Milan-Trade. The company tried to appeal the decision, stating that the seizure blocked its economic activities. But on May 26, the Khmelnytskyi Court of Appeal left the seizure in force.

The Court of Appeal agreed with the arguments of the investigation: according to the materials of the proceedings, Milan-Trade actually belongs to the suspect, and its funds may be related to a criminal offense or subject to confiscation.

The publication notes that formally Milan-Trade does not belong to Solsky. At the same time, the investigation believes that Milan-Trade was formally registered in the name of another person, but was actually controlled by the former minister. According to the case materials, the ownership of a number of companies was allegedly registered in the name of Oleksiy Olenchenko, a lawyer from Mykola Solskyi’s business group and the formal owner of most of the former minister’s agricultural assets.
