Russia attacked a civilian ship in Great Odesa: the captain died

Russian troops attacked a civilian ship under the Tanzanian flag: the captain of the ship was killed in the attack, and 11 other crew members were evacuated.
This was reported by the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
The captain of the ship was killed in the attack. Another 11 crew members were evacuated, three of them were slightly injured. A fire broke out on board the ship. It is currently being extinguished.
Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine noted that Russia has been attacking the port infrastructure of Great Odesa and civilian shipping with ballistic missiles and drones for the fifth day in a row.
Nine people have already died since the beginning of this wave of Russian attacks.
The ministry emphasized that attacks on ports and civilian ships pose a threat to international shipping, freedom of navigation, and global food security.
The Ministry of Development also called on the international community to strengthen its response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian shipping and port infrastructure.
Earlier, USM reported that Ukrainian drones attacked 11 Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov.
