Russia will block grain corridors, — Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia would block grain corridors.

The president also confirmed that on July 22, no ship was able to enter Ukrainian ports, Ukrinform reports.

Zelenskyy noted that a few months ago the government understood that the Russians would do everything to block the Ukrainian grain corridor.

“A separate challenge is agriculture. We understood a couple of months ago what they would do. They will do everything to block our grain corridor. You know that yesterday (…) no ship was able to enter our port. That is, they attacked all ships. They will increase this. Understanding this, we saw the plans of the “Russians” a couple of months ago, and therefore decided that a separate person should deal with this area,” Zelenskyy said, answering a question from an Ukrinform correspondent.

USM previously reported that not a single ship passed through the Ukrainian maritime corridor during the height of the harvest on July 22. Ukraine initiated an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council for July 27.
