Zelenskyy and Erdogan discussed security in the Black Sea and the work of the export corridor

There are various options on the table for restoring the maritime export corridor — all that is needed is Russia’s willingness to stop attacking infrastructure.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed Ukraine’s territorial integrity, security in the Black Sea, and the potential Drone Deal. The president reported this on Facebook.

“Meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Thanked him for his consistent support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. And it is really very important that the Russian war against Ukraine ends just like this: with dignity and respect for international law,” Zelenskyy wrote.

A separate topic of the negotiations is security in the Black Sea and ensuring the operation of the maritime export corridor. The president emphasized that countries on every continent depend on Ukrainian food exports, and now there are various options for its full restoration on the table.

According to Zelenskyy, this requires only Russia’s willingness to stop strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure – then Ukraine will mirror its long-range responses.

The parties also discussed bilateral issues: a free trade zone and a potential Drone Deal.
