The management of the Borivazh terminal announced a raider seizure, – media

The management of the Borivazh sea grain terminal in the port of Pivdennyi announced the forcible seizure of the facility by a group of unknown persons.

This was reported by Economic Truth, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.

According to them, at about 07:00 on September 29, about 50 people in balaclavas arrived at the territory of the sea transshipment and warehouse complex and established actual control over the facility.

According to the publication’s sources, access to the territory of the complex was blocked. Seven terminal guards were taken outside its boundaries, some of them, according to preliminary information, went to medical institutions to have their injuries fixed.

Yulia Hryshchenko, a lawyer for Borivazh Terminal LLC, filed a criminal complaint with the National Police.

As a reminder, Borivazh was previously associated with the former owners of PrivatBank, Igor Kolomoiskyi and Gennady Bogolyubov. Legal disputes are currently ongoing around the terminal.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office denied information about the lifting of the arrest from the Borivazh terminal.
