Former State Property Fund official detained for treason

In Kyiv, the former first deputy chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine was detained for treason.

In addition to treason, the suspect is charged with the illegal acquisition and possession of weapons and ammunition, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to the investigation, the former first deputy head of the State Property Fund spread the idea of ​​changing the territorial integrity of Ukraine and cooperated with the occupiers in waging war.

From February 24 to March 16, he was active in anti-Ukrainian chats in instant messengers, and transmitted data on the locations of personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to representatives of the Russian Federation and territories of the ORDLO.

The suspect had a military education, and therefore was aware that this data would be used by the enemy for further bombing of peaceful cities.

The man was detained, during the search they seized pistols, cartridges, grenades and a mobile phone. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint in the form of detention is being decided.
