From the ports of Great Odessa, new shipments of grain were sent to Africa and Asia

Today, over 83,000 tons of grain were sent to Libya and Bangladesh from Ukrainian ports onboard of two ships.

On Wednesday, September 28, as part of the “grain initiative”, four ships left the ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi. Two of them are headed to countries in Africa and Asia.

“Among them Magnum Fortune, which transports 51 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat for Bangladesh, and Almeray with 32.4 thousand tons of corn for Libya. A total of 115,000 tons of agricultural products are on board the four ships,” the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reports.

After almost two months of operation of the “grain corridor”, 5.4 million tons of food were exported to the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe.

As previously reported by USM, russia is preparing the ground to try to derail the grain initiative. Such conclusions can be drawn after putin’s statement that Ukrainian grain is allegedly not exported to countries suffering from a food crisis.
