The dry cargo arrested in Reni got a new owner


The vessel Mamba B, arrested due to the debts of the shipowner, was sold at the OpenMarket electronic auction.

The winner of the auction was Vladyslav Postnikov’s “Logotradegroup” LLC of Odesa, which offered UAH 14.89 million for dry cargo, according to OpenMarket (belongs to SETAM state-owned enterprise).

The winner of the auction now has 10 working days to pay for the lot. If the buyer does not make the payment on time, he will lose the security deposit and the right to become the owner will pass to another participant who offered the second highest offer.

Mamba dry cargo has a length of 99.9 m, a width of 19.5 m; deadweight — 7.2 thousand tons. The ship has two bilges. The cargo equipment consists of three standers and four lifting booms.

According to the court register, the last shipowner of Mamba B was BYO LTD, which is located on the island of Nevis (one of the islands in the Caribbean Sea). The debt collector, according to the court documents, is Larus Shipping LLC.

The ship was arrested for the debts of the shipowner, it has been moored in the port of Reni for 5 years.
