Ukraine should stop exporting grain to Iran,the expert said

Iran helps the Kremlin in the war against Ukraine, in particular, it supplies russia with kamikaze drones. As a result, the issue of breaking diplomatic relations with Iran, as well as the termination of grain exports to suppliers of “bikes” became relevant in Ukraine.

Ukraine should stop exporting grain to Iran, because of its assistance to russia in the war with Ukraine. This opinion was expressed on Facebook by ex-president of the Ukrainian Grain Association and former deputy general director of the “Nibulon” company for interaction with authorities, Volodymyr Klymenko.

According to him, in different years he met several times in Ukraine with Iranian ambassadors at their initiative. The topic of conversation is mostly the same — Iran needs Ukrainian grain.

“They asked to find an opportunity to supply grain, sometimes despite the sanctions. Ukraine has always helped the people of Iran in solving food security issues. And now Iranian drones are bombing Ukraine? Is this the gratitude of the leaders of Iran, whom we have always helped with grain?”, Klymenko commented.

The expert also noted that not a single ton of Ukrainian grain should be delivered to Iran, and the government and the President should make the appropriate decision.

According to Stark Shipping, Ukraine sent two ships with 126,000 tons of corn to Iran as part of the “grain initiative”. Last year, Ukraine delivered about 2.5 million tons of grain to Iran by sea.
