Russia once again threatens to break the “grain agreement”

Russia is manipulating the termination of the “grain agreement” due to the UN investigation into Iranian kamikaze drones.

In response to the UN investigation into russia’s use of Iranian drones, moscow may “reconsider cooperation” with the UN, including not extending the “grain agreement”. Such a statement was made by the first deputy permanent representative of Russia to the UN Dmitriy Polyanskyi, reports Ukrinform with reference to TASS.

Polyanskyi also said that russian federation is still “not convinced” of the need to continue the grain agreement, and added that the main issue remains “the export of russian fertilizers and food.”

Previously, USM reported that russian President putin invented another version of the Crimean Bridge bombing to disrupt the continuation of the Istanbul Agreements. Prior to this, russian federation also presented a list of claims and demands to the UN regarding the “grain corridor”, in case of non-fulfillment of which it threatened to withdraw from the agreement.
