Nine russian vessels were transferred from the Agency for Search and Asset Management to a Ukrainian enterprise

Nine russian vessels were handed over to the Ukrainian company from the Agency for Search and Asset Management .

Prosecutors secured the transfer from the Agency to the management of a Ukrainian enterprise of nine vessels that belonged to russian enterprises, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported.

The transfer of the ships will ensure the income from their management to the state budget of Ukraine. The total value of the ships is over UAH 532 million.

The ships arrived in Ukraine at the end of 2021 — the beginning of 2022. Carrying out economic activity in the transportation of goods, the russian companies-owners of the ships paid taxes and filled the budget of russian federation, which actually provided financial assistance to the armed forces of the aggressor country.

The vessels were arrested as part of the investigation of criminal proceedings on the facts of financing actions committed with the aim of violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, change of the borders of the territory or state border of Ukraine.
