Erdogan reacted to russia’s statements regarding the Grain Agreement

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who brokered the agreement on the grain corridor, commented on the suspension of its participation in the agreement announced by russia.

Erdogan emphasized the importance of the grain corridor, noting that with its help, it was possible to relatively reduce the food crisis, exporting 9.3 million tons of agricultural products from Ukraine. The President of Turkey made his statement at the 8th World Turkish Medical Congress, European Pravda reports.

“Despite the fact that russia is hesitant about the Grain agreement, because moscow is not given the same opportunities, Turkey will continue its efforts to serve humanity,” the Turkish president said, refraining from further details.

As USM previously reported, the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul approved the movement of 16 “grain initiative” vessels in Turkish waters.
