The sea export of grain from Ukraine crossed the mark of 10 million tons

Since the beginning of the departure of the first vessel through the “grain corridor”, Ukraine has exported 10 million tons of agricultural products within the framework of the Istanbul Agreements.

Today, 7 vessels with Ukrainian agricultural products left the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhnoye. In total, they will deliver 290,000 tons of food to the countries of Asia and Europe.

Thus, the export mark of the “grain corridor” from Ukraine reached 10 million tons of agricultural products.

Among the ships that left the ports today are Esentepe with 29,000 tons of sunflower seeds (bound for Oman) and Key Knight with 67,000 tons of corn (bound for China).

Since August 1, 430 ships with food left for the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe through the “grain corridor” from Ukrainian ports. In October, export volumes could have been 30-40% higher if russia had not artificially blocked ship inspections in the Bosphorus Strait, the Ministry of Infrastructure noted.
