The destruction of vessels in Kherson region caused an eco-catastrophe

Russian troops in the occupied Kherson region provoked the pollution of water areas as a result of blowing up Ukrainian ships.

Russian troops in the Kherson region blow up and destroy Ukrainian ships and boats. As a result of the explosions, there are spills, there is pollution of the territory and the water area with fuel and lubricant materials, which are carried by the current into the Dnipro delta, and then in the direction of the protected zone of the Nizhnyodniprovsky National Nature Park, reports the State Environmental Inspection.

According to the information of the Regional Military Administration in the Kherson region, the amount of fuel and lubricants that got into the water resources is 10 tons.

Currently, experts of the State Environmental Inspection are calculating the damage caused to the environment by the occupiers.
