During the year, exports from Ukraine decreased by almost a third
This year, the export of Ukrainian goods decreased by 31.4%.
For 9 months of 2022, the export of goods from Ukraine amounted to 33,065.5 million dollars. This is 68.6% compared to 9 months of 2021, the State Statistics Service reports.
Import of goods to Ukraine amounted to 38,484.2 million dollars, or 76.3%.
During the specified period, Ukraine sold the most products of plant origin on foreign markets, in particular grain worth 8.87 billion dollars. Also, metals, including ferrous, and their products ($5.099 billion). Fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin (for $4.29 billion). Their share in the total volume of exports was 26.8%, 15.4% and 13%, respectively.
The main commodity items of Ukrainian imports were mineral fuels, oil and its distillation products (for $9.24 billion) and machines, equipment and mechanisms (for $6.10 billion). Their share in the total volume of imports was 24% and 15.9%.
