Launch of Odesa Port Plant: the conditions for the export of ammonia from russia have been named

Ukraine will agree to the resumption of ammonia exports from russia only after exchanging captives “all for all”.

“We can agree on the export of ammonia only if the exchange of “all for all” is implemented. We do not want to trade with russia, help them – they are our enemy. I said that we can agree only if they exchange all our prisoners for their prisoners,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during the Bloomberg New Economy Forum conference on Thursday, November 17.

It will be recalled that before the start of the full-scale invasion, russian ammonia transited through the territory of Ukraine through the Tolyatti-Odesa pipeline. After February 24, the export of ammonia from russian federation stopped. In particular, due to the danger of russian missiles hitting ammonia enterprises and the Odesa Port Plant.

Back in September, the Western media wrote that, in order to continue the work of the “grain initiative”, the russians may allow their ammonia to be exported through the same corridor through which Ukraine currently exports food. At the same time, President Zelenskyy for the first time offered to resume ammonia transit on the condition of exchanging prisoners, to which the russian terrorists replied that “people and ammonia are not the same thing.”

Previously, USM wrote that the russians are hoping to transport ammonia through Odesa as part of the Black Sea Initiative.
