The second vessel within the framework of Grain From Ukraine left for Ethiopia
As part of the Ukrainian humanitarian program Grain From Ukraine, a second ship with grain for Ethiopia left the port of Chornomorsk.
BC Callisto dry cargo will deliver 30,000 tons of wheat to Ethiopia, the Ministry of Infrastructure reports.
The first vessel under the initiative, Nord Wind, arrived at the port of Djibouti on December 3. From there, another 25,000 tons of humanitarian wheat from Ukraine will be sent to the residents of Ethiopia.
Also, two more bulkers — Neva and Rubymar — are being loaded in the port of Odesa, which will deliver 55,000 tons of humanitarian wheat for Somalia and Sudan.
In two days, the ports of Greater Odessa sent 9 ships with 336,000 tons of agricultural products to the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe. Since the beginning of the implementation of the “grain initiative”, the world has received 13 million tons of Ukrainian food.
