The share of “Nibulon” in the export of grain exceeded the pre-war indicators
“Nibulon” company exported 1.7 million tons of grain from January 1 to November 15 of this year (including 751.8 thousand tons in March-November). This is 164% less than in the same period of 2021.
This decline was caused by disruptions to Nibulon’s usual export routes during the war, including the blocking of exports through the Black Sea and the Dnipro River, the company said.
“Although total exports have fallen considerably this year, the figures for November show that the company’s share of total grain exports will exceed its monthly share of the market on the eve of the war. In January 2022, the company exported more than 345,000 tons of grain, which was slightly more than 6% of the total monthly grain export of Ukraine. As of November 15, the company’s share accounted for 6.3% of Ukraine’s total grain export for the first half of the month,” the company calculated.
It is also specified that in the period from May to November, “Nibulon” delivered more than 50,000 tons of grain to Poland, Hungary and Romania by rail and 160,000 tons to Romania by barges.
