The Cabinet of Ministers appointed a new head of the Shipping Administration
Yevhenii Ignatenko became the head of the State Service of Sea and Inland Water Transport and Shipping.
On Friday, December 23, the Cabinet of Ministers discussed personnel issues at a meeting. Thus, Yevgeny Ignatenko was appointed the new head of the State Service of Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping (Shipping Administration), the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, said.
At the same time, Vitaly Kindrativ, who headed the Shipping Administration since August 2021, was dismissed.
“From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Yevhen was mobilized to the ranks of the Armed Forces as a platoon commander of the 59th brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. Yevhen Ignatenko and his comrades took part in the liberation of Kherson from the Russian invaders. He is awarded the Order of Merit, III degree,” the Ministry of Infrastructure reported.
Since 2017, Yevhenii Ignatenko has held the position of commercial director of Grain-Transshipment. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, he worked as a director of the Nibulon shipping company.
He is also a co-owner (33.0%) of Factoring Pivden LLC and (50.0%) of Nika-Grain Trading LLC. Since 2020, he has been a deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council of the 8th convocation from the Servant of the People party.
