The transport holding, which is one of the largest logistics centers in Ukraine, is suspected of tax evasion. Its beneficial owners through a Cypriot offshore company are citizens of russian federation, the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine reports.
During the searches, BEB detectives seized documents of financial and economic activity, which testify to offenses and confirm the citizenship of the founders of russian federation.
Starting in 2021, the founders together with the company’s officials overestimated the tax credit from the value added tax. Such violations led to the fact that more than UAH 18.3 million did not actually reach the state budget.
As part of the investigation, the company’s corporate rights were seized. Also by prohibiting the alienation, disposition and use of property — 9 vehicles and 13 real estate objects (buildings, land plots, etc.) registered under him. The estimated value of the seized assets is about UAH 700 million.
