Last year turned out to be one of the most productive in terms of export performance
Ukraine exported more than 50 million tons of agricultural products in 2022.
Despite the war, last year was one of the best in terms of export performance. High indicators were achieved thanks to the coordinated activities of farmers, traders, international partners and the work of the “grain corridor”. This was announced by First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyi.
In particular, over the past 4 months, the average monthly export rate of Ukrainian agricultural products actually reached pre-war levels.
“Ukraine remains one of the main players in the international agricultural market. The state of production and prospects for the export of agricultural products from Ukraine affect international prices. Currently, they remain high due to the continuation of the war, so the prospects for their reduction are still imperceptible,” Taras Vysotsky emphasized.
In total, Ukraine exported goods worth than $44 billion in 2022.
