Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port is being prepared for privatization

The state property fund is preparing the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi sea port for sale. The starting price and date of the auction are still unknown.
“Privatization of the port “Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi” will allow attracting private investments for the development of logistics, and the funds from the auction will support the Defense Forces,” said the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Dmytro Klimenkov.
According to him, before the war, the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port was unprofitable and did not bring in money even to pay salaries.
From April 1, 2022, the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port will be used as a logistics center for ports on the Danube. It receives cargo on cars and sends them further in wagons.
As previously reported by USM, during the auction for the sale of the Ust-Dunaisk port, the price of the lot tripled – ti UAH 201 million.
