Zelenskyy: after the war, Ukraine plans to build grain terminals abroad
The construction of own grain terminals in the EU, Asia and Africa will become a priority in the post-war reconstruction of the state.
Ukraine should actively work on the development of agriculture, in particular by attracting foreign partners for the development of the irrigation system, its logistics and the construction of grain terminals, noted the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“We have to build new grain terminals – in the EU, in Africa and in Asia. And huge hubs where we can deliver and then store wheat, corn and all other crops produced in Ukraine. As soon as these hubs are ready, we will be able to transport our goods there. In this regard, we hope for partners from Europe, as this requires significant investments,” Zelenskyy said.
Zelenskyy reminded that some African countries have already become interested in the issue of building such hubs.
