The Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada will investigate the “shadow” export of grain
The temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada is going to investigate the “black” export of grain that passes through the “grain corridor”.
Previously, the state budget loses UAH 5 billion a year due to unpaid taxes by exporters, the chairman of the tax committee of the parliament Danylo Hetmantsev said, writes Elevatorist Elevatorist with reference to LIGA.
“We will soon have a ready conclusion on the export of “black” grain, 5 billion hryvnias per year of budget losses. The amount is not as large as in “Igorka”, but there is a high degree of cynicism there: this is the sea corridor that was given to us with blood, and they do not pay taxes in the country and do not return the foreign exchange revenue,” said Danylo Hetmantsev.
The head of the tax committee confirmed that tax evasion in the export of grain occurs despite criminal proceedings and large-scale searches at the Odesa customs office.
“The Bureau of Economic Security opened a criminal case, there were searches, and today – right now – they continue to export “black” grain. And the customs officials know that we know about it, they know that the Tax and Customs Service know about it, and they continue anyway,” said Danylo Hetmantsev.
