The container ship ran aground in the deep-water port of St. Petersburg.

The container ship ran aground at the maritime multi-functional transshipment complex “Bronka” in St. Petersburg. This is reported by rosZMI.

The Russians are fishing on the container ship “Flying Fish”, which ran aground near the shipyard “Bronka”.

According to preliminary data, the container ship was moving towards the pier and, having turned the stern part, ran aground. The Russians claim that there was no oil spill.

The Russian Prosecutor’s Office did not specify the name of the vessel. However, it is likely to be the Panamanian-flagged container ship “Flying Fish”.

Reference:  “Bronka” is located in the Great Port of St. Petersburg – on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland. Currently, it is the only deep-sea terminal in the region, capable of receiving vessels up to 347 meters in length, up to 50 meters in width and up to 13 meters in draft.
