A dead dolphin was found on the coast of the Odessa region

For the first time since last year, a dead white-beaked dolphin was found near the Tuzly Lymany National Park.
This was reported by Doctor of Biological Sciences Ivan Rusev.
According to him, almost a year has passed since the last dead white-beaked dolphin was found on the Black Sea coast.
“Yesterday, June 4, a dead white-beaked dolphin was found again on a 33-kilometer sandbank in the national park. The fins are not damaged, but it is clear that it was at sea for a long time and was heading towards our shores. At the same time, a dead small whale was also found in Romania – a right whale at the mouth of the Danube-Sulina River,” the biologist said.
Scientists do not rule out that the mammals could have died from fuel oil in the Kerch Strait, or from the sonars of Russian ships near Novorossiysk.
It should be noted that the body of the dead dolphin was delivered to the Tuzlovskaya Amazonia border for further autopsy and identification of the causes of death within the framework of criminal proceedings under Article 441 “Ecocide”.
We will remind, at the end of May, residues of petroleum products were again detected near the Danube Reserve.
