A delegation from the UN World Food Program visited the port of Chornomorsk

A working meeting with a delegation of the UN World Food Program in Ukraine was held at the Chornomorsk branch of the State Enterprise “USPA”.

Representatives of the UN program got acquainted with operational activities, technological processes of grain export and security solutions that allow the port to operate stably even in war conditions.
Representative and Director of the UN WFP Office in Ukraine Richard Reagan emphasized the strategic role of Ukrainian ports in ensuring global food security.
“Ukraine continues to play the role of a global guarantor of food stability. Chornomorsk is a critically important link in our supply chain. We see professional work that allows us to promptly deliver aid to countries that need it most. Our cooperation is an example of how logistics saves lives,” he commented.
The head of the Chornomorsk Sea Port Authority, Oleksiy Malyarenko, noted that the enterprise continues to operate stably despite constant security challenges. The port is operating despite drone and missile attacks, as well as damage to port and energy infrastructure.
