A drone shot down over the Black Sea recorded a video of a collision with a russian plane

The US Department of Defense has published a video of a collision between a russian Su-27 fighter jet and an MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance drone over the Black Sea.

Before the fall, the MQ-9 Reaper drone managed to record a video of a collision with a russian fighter jet. The video shows two approaches of the russian aircraft to the BpLA course. After the second approach, the propeller of the MQ-9 Reaper was badly damaged.

The US and russian governments officially call the accident an “unintentional situation.” Washington announced the “irresponsible and unprofessional actions” of russian pilots. At the same time, the russians claim that the drone crashed “as a result of sharp maneuvering.”

Nevertheless, some military experts are sure that it was a deliberate “ramming” by the russian plane. The Pentagon may not recognize this fact officially, so as not to create reasons for escalation.
