A famous American actor visited the icebreaker “Noosfera”

The famous American actor and one of the UNITED24 ambassadors, Liev Schreiber, visited the Ukrainian icebreaker “Noosfera“.
According to the National Antarctic Science Center, Liev is currently on a cruise in the Antarctic. In the area of King George Island, he saw the “Noosfera” heading from the station “Akademik Vernadskyi” to Chile.
Through United24, the actor contacted the ship’s crew, asking if it would be possible to visit the icebreaker and speak with its crew.
It is noted that the main topic of the short conversation was the full-scale war in Ukraine and the country’s ability to develop science and Antarctic research even in such conditions.
