A grain transshipment terminal will be operational on the Ukrainian-Romanian border

On the Ukrainian-Romanian border, a terminal for the processing of grain cargo will soon start operating.

The grain transshipment terminal will be operational near the Romanian Dornesti station on the border with Ukraine, Rail.insider. reports.

According to the representative of the Romanian company GFR Victor Gurdish, the terminal should start operating in February.

It is assumed that the terminal will be able to process one train on a 1520 mm track in 6 hours. In this way, four trains will be processed per day.

Also, the representative of GFR said that after the opening of the terminal, the carrier will be able to accept cargoes of grain along the 1520 mm track and reload them at the Dornesti station.
