One of the key areas will be the creation of a modern transport and logistics hub, focused on strengthening port infrastructure and ensuring sustainable logistics routes.
In addition to the port complex, the strategy includes the development of the “blue economy”, the expansion of alternative energy and the introduction of innovation in the agro-industrial sector.
The updated development strategy of the region will be submitted for consideration at the 27th extraordinary session of the Mykolaiv Regional Council.
As USM reported, international partners, including the European Union, Denmark, and the UN, previously supported the concept of restoring Mykolaiv as a maritime hub and as a center of the “blue economy.”
