In Baltiysk, the small missile ship “Grad” of project 21631 (code “Buyan-M”) was introduced into the russian fleet.

The new ship is armed with Kalibr and Onyx cruise missiles, Militarny reports with reference to the russian Ministry of Defense.

“Grad” is the tenth small missile ship of project 21631, which was built for the navy of the terrorist country in Zelenodolsk.

The ship was laid down in April 2017. In September 2021, it was launched.

In October 2022, sea trials of the ship in the Baltic Sea began. At the end of November, the ship began state trials.

The displacement of the ship is 949 tons, the length is 75 meters, the width is 11 meters.

Maximum speed — 25 knots, range — 2,500 miles, autonomy — 10 days. The crew includes 52 people.

The ship’s armament consists of the Kalibr missile complex, the A-190 100-mm artillery mount, as well as the Hybka launchers for the Igla anti-aircraft missiles and the AK-630-2 Duet anti-aircraft artillery complex.
