Russian-flagged gas tanker catches fire in Mediterranean Sea, crew’s fate unknown
The Russian-flagged Arctic Metagaz gas tanker caught fire in the Mediterranean Sea, crew’s fate unknown, Reuters.Reuters reported.
The vessel, which is under US and British sanctions, was last reported off the coast of Malta on Monday, March 2.
One source suggested the vessel may have been attacked by a drone.
Earlier, USM reported that a Russian vessel involved in the transportation of weapons had been spotted off Tunisia.
