A sailor died in the Kerch Strait during a storm. It is also known about one victim in the port of Taman (Russian Federation).
One sailor died during a storm in the Kerch Strait, rosZMI reports.
It is clarified that the deceased is a crew member of the Kavkaz 1 vessel (Malta flag).
In addition, a mechanic from the ship Gaia I (Panama flag) was injured in the port of Taman: the man had two fingers torn off by the ship’s door.
We will remind, as a result of stormy weather in the Black Sea on the night of November 27, the cargo ship Blue Shark under the flag of Belize broke from its anchor and ran aground.
USM also reported that the vessels “Matros Shevchenko”, “Matros Pozynych” and “Kavkaz-5” collided due to a storm in the Kerch Strait in the Krasnodar Territory. It is worth noting that the bulk carriers “Matros Pozynych” and “Matros Shevchenko” were repeatedly involved in the theft of Ukrainian grain.
