A sea mine was blown away by a storm on the coast of the Odesa region

The explosive device was destroyed in a controlled manner by the soldiers of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A storm blew an enemy sea mine onto one of the beaches of the Odesa region. The Southern Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

The dangerous object was discovered by a local resident, who promptly notified the border guards.

Specialists of the special unit of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived at the scene, identified the ammunition and destroyed it with a controlled explosion, eliminating the threat to local residents and shipping.

Also, the day before, the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine responded to Turkey’s concerns about the attack on Russian tankers.
