A sea mine was defused on the coast of Odesa


The Navy of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian SSR reported the destruction of another sea mine, which was brought to the coast in the Odesa region.

Military sailors reported this on their Facebook page.

“Tonight, the forces and means of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed another sea mine that was brought to the coast of the Odesa region. The discovered ammunition was neutralized by controlled detonation,” the post reads.

The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reminded that in case of detection of suspicious or explosive objects, in no case should you approach them, touch them or try to move them yourself. However, in case of detection of such objects, the relevant services must be notified.

“We also call on citizens to spend their holidays at sea taking into account the above and only on checked and permitted areas of the coast where rescue services are on duty,” summarized the military.
