A second ship left the port of Odesa

Today, August 26, the bulk carrier Primus left the port of Odesa under the flag of Liberia, which is headed for the port of Varna in Bulgaria.

This is already the second ship that left the port of Odesa through the temporary sea corridor after the withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the Grain Agreement. This was announced by Andriy Klymenko, head of the Black Sea Strategic Research Institute project.

“The port of destination is indicated by BG VAR VARNA. ETA: 2023-08-27 13:00 LT (UTC +3),” the specialist noted.

The ship arrived in Odesa on February 20, 2022 — four days before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. The ship was originally owned by ERMA MARINE SA from Greece, but during the blockade the ship changed owner to NOVA POLAR LTD from Singapore. Also, the ship changed its name from POLARSTAR during its stay in the port of Odesa.

We will remind you that on August 16, the first ship – the container ship JOSEPH SCHULTE under the flag of Hong Kong – left the port of Odesa through the temporary corridor. On August 18, he arrived in Istanbul.
