Polish military intervenes after “suspicious maneuvers” — ship sails back to Russian waters.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced “suspicious maneuvers” of a Russian ship near an underwater power cable connecting Poland with Sweden. He reported this on the social network X.

The incident occurred in the Baltic Sea in the area of ​​strategic energy infrastructure. The Polish military responded quickly to the situation, after which the ship changed course and sailed to one of the Russian ports.

The event caused concern in Warsaw against the backdrop of a series of incidents in the Baltics related to ships that Russia uses for illegal oil exports and, probably, hybrid operations.

Recall, the other day the Estonian Navy tried to stop the tanker “Jaguar”,

 which was heading to the Russian port of Primorsk. The crew refused to follow orders, but left the Estonian economic zone. In response, Russia scrambled a fighter jet, which, according to the Estonian military, violated the country’s airspace.
