A roller coaster with a russian crew caught fire near the coast of Vietnam.

On February 4, the Panamanian car carrier An Shin caught fire while sailing along the southern coast of Vietnam. The ship was transporting 4,530 electric cars from South Korea to Singapore. The incident happened about 45 nautical miles from Phu Quoc Island, Vietnamese media Tuoi Tre reported.

In addition to the cars, there were about 1,356 tons of oil on the ship. There were also 21 crew members from russia on the truck.

The crew used all the fire extinguishers, so the burning ship headed to the port city of Vung Tau to resupply. With the help of rescuers, the fire was contained only in the evening of February 5.

According to preliminary data, all electric cars were destroyed. At the moment, it is impossible to investigate the interior of the ship and establish the exact cause of the fire.

The Ah Shin ro-ro vessel was built in 1999 and flies under the flag of Panama. The length of the ship is 200 meters, the deadweight is 21,000 tons.
