The dredger “Ginger” sank on the territory of the Mykolaiv seaport.
The sinking dredger “Ginger” on January 15 caused a leak of oil products, the State Environmental Inspection of the South-Western District reports on Facebook .
An on-site survey was conducted and water samples were taken at the place of contamination. Repeat samples were taken on January 19.
“According to the results of the laboratory tests conducted on January 16, it was established that the content of petroleum products exceeded 7-8 times. In the samples taken on January 19, an excess of the content of oil products was also found,” the message reads.
