About 3,500 trucks are on the Polish-Ukrainian border, traffic is blocked at four checkpoints.
“The situation is practically unchanged on the border with Poland. Four directions are blocked: “Rava-Ruska – Grebene”, “Jagodzin – Dorogusk”, “Shehyni – Medyka” and “Krakivets – Korchova”. As of this morning, according to information from Polish colleagues, there are almost 3,500 trucks in queues heading for Ukraine,” said the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko.
According to him, the most trucks are parked in front of the Sheghini checkpoint – 1,200 and in front of the Yagodin checkpoint – 900.
“During the day, there is a certain movement of cargo vehicles both entering and leaving Ukraine, but, of course, there is no such dynamics of movement as it was before November 6,” Demchenko noted.
As for the Slovakian-Ukrainian border, according to the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service, traffic continues there, but as of this morning, about 500 trucks are waiting to enter Ukraine.
