Access to the banks of the Dnipro allowed the Armed Forces of Ukraine to take the territory near Crimea under fire control
The Armed Forces took under fire control the territory near the annexed Crimea.
Access to the coast of the Dnipro River allowed the Ukrainian military to take the territory under fire control. This was announced by the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Gromov.
He stated that currently the Armed Forces are doing everything possible to hit the enemy at the maximum distance.
“Our servicemen really went to the coast of the Dnipro River. This allows us to control the territory close to the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. Artillery soldiers and general servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are doing everything possible to hit the enemy at the maximum range of our weapons,” Gromov said.
Earlier, the Defense Forces went to the border on the right bank of the Dnipro and liberated 198 settlements in the south of the country. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine blew up a railway bridge in the rear of the enemy and prevented the movement of equipment and manpower of the russian troops.
