After leaving Tartus, a sanctioned Russian vessel turned off its AIS

The Russian vessel “Sparta IV”, which regularly transports military equipment from Syria, has been sailing with its AIS turned off for 16 days.
This was reported by Kateryna Yaresko, a journalist for the SeaKrime project of the “Myrotvorets” center.
Sparta IV (IMO:9743033) has been without a signal for 16 days, and turned off its AIS after visiting the Syrian port of Tartus. This is the ship that regularly transports Russian military equipment from the Syrian port after the fall of the Assad regime.
“The ship is now off the coast of Algeria, heading to Baltiysk. Location: 37.488, 5.382,” Yaresko reported.
We will remind, in early April, the “Sparta IV” vessel left the Russian port of Baltiysk, officially indicating a port in Egypt as its destination, although in fact it was heading to Tartus. On April 26, the ship nevertheless entered Tartus.
